Privacy Policy
Cerdikai (https://cerdikai.com) operates the Cayden learning app for Malaysian Standard 4 revision. This policy explains what we collect and why.
Who this app is for
The app is designed for primary school revision. Accounts should be created and managed by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect more data than needed to run quizzes and show progress.
Data we collect
- Account: email and password (via Supabase Auth), display name, grade level.
- Learning progress: quiz attempts, scores, mastery per learning objective.
- Technical: standard server logs from hosting (Vercel) and database (Supabase).
AI-generated questions
When local or cached questions are not enough, the server may call OpenAI to generate quiz items. We send lesson topics and objectives — not your password. You can reduce AI usage by relying on cached and built-in question banks.
How we use data
- Sign you in and keep your session secure.
- Personalise revision and weak-spot practice.
- Let parents view progress behind a PIN.
- Improve reliability and fix errors.
Sharing
We use Supabase (database and auth), Vercel (hosting), and optionally OpenAI (question generation). We do not sell personal data.
Retention and deletion
Progress is stored until you delete your account. You can request deletion anytime from Account settings while signed in.
